I was refering to the picture of the spider in shed, not the albino. He looks really dried out.

Be sure to post some pics of the cinny and pastel girls! I have a male/female Mojo on hold til after the holidays!

But yeah, he started going in full shed last night when I was working graveyard. I came home and bumped the humidity up right when I was taking the pics this morning, he looked horrible! Now he's hugging the damp paper towel I put in there. I'll post new pics when he fully sheds.

Yea that is not in shed he was trying to shed and the head broke off from the rest. If he dont get it off same day you need to soak him and assist getting it off.

Also if your misting non stop and it drys out fast, this will result in bad sheds even if its 75% while hes shedding. How are they setup, tubs or tanks.

Yeah I know what I need to do when he has a bad shed I've had snakes for years, thanks.

40+ quart tubs...I think they might be 41 quarts. I also changed the substrate from the stuff I used for my kingsnakes(used to be t-rex sani-chips). Changed it about...2-3 days ago?

It has bigger grains/chips, not like sawdusty sani-chips. It doesn't hold in moisture as much and has been keeping the humidity a lot more stable. This stuff makes it so I only have to mist once a day, if even that. I lay newspaper on the bottom of the viv then lay the substrate on top so I can scoop up the substrate by grabbing the ends of the newspaper, blah, blah, blah. Lol.

    Any more questions?

    Sid

I could hardly keep him still. Had to let him explore a bit and get the energy out.

Sorry for the crappy quality, I only had my boyfriends camera phone handy

    After his soak and shed:

We're working on getting our 09 females right now...
Our albino will be paired with a spider and our male spider will have a couple blonde pastel girls.

Not to mention the het was pretty much given to me by Jonathan so I couldn't pass that up.
i still dont get it, why use a het male when you have a visual male? one male can be ran threw several females no problem at all.

You're keeping babies in 41 quart tubs? Oi.

I'm not trying to be snarky here, but given prior posts here and elsewhere I get the feeling you've not had snakes that long. You're 17 after all, and thought WC meant West Coast and that ticks on CB animals is normal. The best thing you can do as a future breeder is to listen and learn. And then read and learn some more. There is a wealth of info here, and a lot of helpful folks.

Best of luck though. I do hope you're quarantining all these new additions away from one another.
