some specific info on your set up and temps would be helpful, answer the following questions

    how old is the snake
    when did you acquire it
    is it male or female
    what is it eating
    how often is it fed
what are the EXACT temps in your cage
what are you using to measure the temps in the cage
    what is the exact humidity
what are you using to measure the humidity
    when did you move
did you change anything in the set up

    etc

the answers to some of those questions will help people here figure out whats going on.

    Re: ? about feeding

Id have a quick search around this site for some old posts on feeding problems as there are many floating around and are very useful, i belive there might be a sticky in the Ball python section.

Ball pythons go off food for a veriaty of reasons and 3 1/2 weeks is nothing by there standards. Yes a male who is ready to breed will go off food during the colder periods as his mind switches into breeding mode.

Usually when i have had a Ball suddenly go off feed i check my setup and note if any temps have changed, humidity , have i removed any hides, moved the viv (high traffic area )etc as there are so many different reasons why they dont feed. In my experience if its not a breeding fast its a security fast. Is he been held alot recently?

As the other two guys have mentioned in order to properly make a guess as to why he has stopped feeding we need to know your exact setup details.

3 1/2 weeks is nothing to worry about at all. Keep an eye on his condition and maybe keep note of his weight and as long as his health seems ok i wouldnt panic too much, just double check your set up and search the forum... hundreds of people will have searched this forum looking for the same answer. I did 6 years ago when i had a royal not feed at all for 10 months and only ate if i force fed her for another 6 months after that. Shes now in the smallest container i could find with plenty of hides and is soon to be a breeder this season.
