    Re: catogorize the pastel

Are all those pastels the same gene breed to maximize color so a lemon to a blonde could make a super pastel or could you make a lemon jungle pastel?

    Re: catogorize the pastel

Well as it turns out she is most likely a graziani. I talked to who I bought her from who said that he bought her from a girl produced her from a pastel produced by don patterson. I contacted Don and he said that he was breeding mosly graziani and to him thats what she looks like.
I also have a male pastel who is the dad to my first clutch. He was produced by jeff favelle who at the time was only using graziani line. So it looks like that the line I will be working with now. Looks like some super grazianis are in my future.
hers a pic of my male with his baby. I also have this posted in another thread. I hink they are both nice quality pastels and should make some smokin supers.

Very nice pastel...looks to have good color for her size.

Bloodlines don't really tell you anything about the look of a pastel. If you breed a nice pastel to a dark ugly normal, the bloodline isn't going to save you.

Just FYI, the Vanilla Pastel isn't a different line of pastel...it's a double co-dom combo morph (Vanilla x Pastel). Vanilla is a visible "het" for Super Vanilla...a really neat ghostly looking snake with wacky pattern.

Since it hasn't been said yet a Vanilla Pastel is a combo morph between a Vanilla and a Pastel.

People still believe this? Blondes are no different than any other pastel.

    Re: catogorize the pastel

Once you get a generation or so away from the originator's line, it no longer matters. A Graziani pastel is one that Graziani says is one of his. <lol>
Once you outcross it, it's no longer a Graziani pastel.

You still haven't mentioned how old she is.

All pastels are 'pastel jungles'--that is simply the original name of the morph.
    Vanilla is a different morph.
