    Computer Image Help

Ok, so I need to take some images and put them on a cd so I can take them to work and have them printed out. They are jpeg pics taken on a kodak camera. They were transferred from the camera directly to my friend's computer who then sent them to me by email. Now, how can I get them onto a cd. I would put them on my camera's card but I can't find my camera.

    Re: Computer Image Help

1: Open the email. If the images show up in the email (you can visibly see them), right click on each picture and click "save as". Chose a place to save them to and remember where that place (desktop is a good choice). IF you cannot visibly see the pictures, there should be something that says "Attached images". There you should be able to download the pictures by clicking on their links and clicking "Save as", follow the procedure above.
2: Insert your CD into the CD drive
3: If you are using windows XP/Vista - Click on start >My computer > there should be an option for "CD" such as "Audio CD" or "DVD CD" or "CDRW". Right click on the CD and click "Explore".
4: You should have a new folder open.
5: Click and hold down the left mouse button, select all of the pictures wherever you saved them. They should be highlighted in blue, right click on any of the files and click "copy".
6: Right click inside the CD folder and choose "Paste".
7: Wait for the files to be copied, and voila!

Let me know if you need any help.

It says Windows encountered an error while trying to copy the images over to the cd.

    Re: Computer Image Help

you can just drag and drop the pictures into the D: with a blank cd installed.

Insert a writeable CD or DVD into your computer's CD or DVD recorder.

In the dialog box that appears, click Burn files to data disc.

In the Burn a Disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Next.

It might take several minutes for the disc to be formatted in the default Live File System format. When the formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.

Open the folder that contains the files you want to burn, and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.
