I used to feed my Ball pythons in a separate container and didn't have that many problems. I fed Candice on a separate container for over a year and never had a problem with her. Though I did have one snake (Dumeril's boa) that never ate in a separate container. One day I just started feedig all of my snakes in their own enclosures because it was a lot easier.
