Yep. I agree. Cresteds are so easy and inexpensive to care for. They're nocturnal, so they don't require any UV or heat lamps. They tolerate room temps (lower to mid-70s) quite well.

We have ours in a 20 gallon (upright) aquarium with a screen top (more like a screen wall because it's upright) that has a screen door. We have moist moss as a substrate and ExoTerra jungle vine and ivy suctioned along the sides of the glass.

They eat Repashy crested gecko diet, occasional bananas, and crickets. The enclosure needs to be misted a couple times a day to keep the humidity up, and the only drawback is that they hide in the ivy during the day.

But they sure are cute.
