Invention ideas?
Ok so i have to do a school project and to do it i need to invent something useful, that isn't impossibly hard to make. My teacher said to stay to things that would help out the average student/ home. Any Ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Invention ideas?
Do you just need to come up with an idea, or do you need to build it yourself?
One thing I've been doing lately is coming up with my own fishing lure designs, you could "invent" a new design. There's plenty of room to get creative with something like that.
99.99999% of all inventions and patents and the like are just adaptations of things that already exist.

Re: Invention ideas?
Here ya go... I thought of this today, but I don't have the know how or connections to make it happen.
The idea came to me in another thread, regarding how to keep cold blooded animals warm when the power is out and there is no electricity.
It would be really cool if there was a way heat a reptile enclosure, or multiple levels of enclosures with some kind of a pad...or some "rope" which carries hot water through it.
You'd need some kind of device that warms the water and circulates it throughout the whole system, and it has to be fast enough so that as water is circulating, it doesn't cool off too much.
It has to emit enough heat to keep enclosures warm...or it can be cool enough that you can put it directly in the enclosure for the animal to lay on.
Surely, you can figure out some way this can be useful to all people. Maybe it can be made into a water-filled heat blanket.
There...I just dropped a multi-million dollar idea out into a public forum. If it goes BIG, I want my cut
