Gecko not eating question

So i have 2 geckos a female blizard and a female Mack Snow. The Blizzard is older and almost 2/3's the size, recently i felt the mack snow was large enough to put into my large tank i house my blizzard in. For the first couple days they were standoffish with the smaller one being more startled then the larger one. Now behavior wise they have both calmed down, but the larger one doesnt seem as interested in food. The little one will eat anything i give him. Yet the older blizzard just doesnt seem that interested in crickets. I didnt wanna see him go without food. So i picked up some wax worms and she'll eat those without question.

Does anyone think this is anything to worry about?

Any recomendation?

If you had no issues with either of them eating before you put them in the same tank and now have issues with one of them eating then separate them. Sometimes they can live together in groups and sometimes (more often I think) they can't. It seems as if the older gecko just does not want a tank mate nor does she want to compete for food (or the warm spot or the good hide).
I would suggest too that wax worms are not the answer, you may be doubling your trouble. If that is all she will eat now then it may become all she will ever want to eat...and they are not a good staple.
So, if it were me, I'd separate them and stop the wax worms.

Separate them. They are stressed by one another. Sometimes things get better but more often then not they will remain stressed and it can escalate to fighting. Leopard geckos are fairly solitary animals and they do best when kept individually. Don't worry about them getting lonely - they're not - reptiles do not require companionship for their well being.

+2 on the wax worms, too. Once in a while as a treat they're good but not as a staple.

I would also say to seperate them too and be careful with the wax worms. I personally love having my leo's 1 per tub. Each one has it's own space, hides etc. I know how much each one is eating. I know no one is being bullied or having to compete for anything. If one happens to get sick that one is not around any others. I can also monitor each one's bowel movements to make sure everything is okay in that department. With multiples in a tank you don't know who did what unless you see them. These are just some of the reasons why I like to do one per tank/tub but I know MANY people who put multiples in a tank and don't have a problem and perfer that method. Whatever works for them/you is fine with me as long as the gecko's are well cared for. Good luck with wahtever you decide to do

Ok thanks all. I haven't been feeding her to many wax worms, maybe a total of 3? this happened fairly recently and she sparsely eat crickets . But i will try separating them. I had 2 tanks set up before so it shouldn't be much trouble to put set the second one up again and see if there is any change.
