I know it's warm where you live, but snakes need belly heat. This helps them digest their food too.

    Good Luck!

I know someone asked about hides, but i didnt see an answer. Where are they? Ball pythons love to be cramped (in a hide, not in a small enclosure). Give her two hides, and maybe a moist hide.

I've got a friend that ONLY feeds his snakes AFTER they shed. I think he'll have to change his method when the snakes get older.

Are you serious? An unfed snake won't shed very often? How are they supposed to grow? And what do you mean older? Is this a baby?

Get a hide and a very large water dish in that tank and get the humidity up.
My snakes have all worked up to a hour minimum soak each and every week.

He just recently got into snakes and I've tried to help him. He's the kind of guy that reads something and thinks he knows what it say and he does what he wants to do. Now I may be wrong, but I know his snakes (all younger than 6-8 months old) only shed about once every 40-60 days. I think he only only feeds his snakes once a shed period. I'm sure that's what he's told me. We had discussions about this and it's almost turned into an argument.

Sad to say it but at that rate that snake is going to waste away and die...

Babies need to be fed every 5-7 days in order to grow at a decent rate.
