Our ability to express our true concern of the public's fear.

It's like I always tell people when they tell me their afraid of snakes, I tell people "I understand, their not for everyone and I'm not going ask you to do or be in a situation that make them uncomfortable". Normally peoples curiosity and me not pushing the animals on them wins out over fear..

We don't need to poo poo peoples fear. I think that is one of the reasons we get such a bad rap. People get the "its so stupid to be afraid of snakes".

This lady didn't walk in to a snake shop and complain she was getting out of her car..I tell you if I went to get out of my car and there's a Bengal tiger standing there, I'd crap myself.

Just remember while we enjoy these animals we have to accept others who don't and take them into consideration first and foremost cause after all it isn't snake lovers pushing for their removal from the pet trade..now is it.
I completely agree, but I wonder if this was the same person who called 911 when she locked herself IN her car. What the crap ever happened to "let me get away from this animal that I am afraid of, then call 911 to report a large "dangerous" animal in the vicinity". Guess that requires some common sense.
