heaters for rooms.
i have all my snakes on UTHs, and my beardies on baksing bulbs, and CHEs at night, but what type of relativly cheap, heater can sit in the room without making a smell, the reptiles are at my girls house and she is putting the heater in her room, so what would make a good one.

Re: heaters for rooms.
An oil filled one.
I use 2 of these on Double Rancos and have no complaints.
Keep the room a nice and toasty 82 degrees

These are the ones i use. I have 4 running right now. The digital t-stat built in is awesome.

EDIT- When ever buying a new oil radiator plug it in on high in a well ventilated room as they STINK for the first few hours of use. After that your golden.

Try being educated before calling something a waste of money. Space heaters are a waste of money; they heat a little cube sized room that is why you need to run 4 of them! They suck humidity out of the air like crazy.

Those oil filled ones only heat 144 ft. Infared heaters heat 1000 sq feet and cost just under $30 a month to run.

Re: heaters for rooms.
I use one per 15x15 room. having 3 rooms with snakes in them heated to 81F and 51% room humidity is fine wiht me. Like i said i run 3 of these on top of the snakes heating and my lights in house and i barely break 150$ a month in electric.
Im not gonna argue over it. do what you want but the OP was looking for a cheap way to keep room temps up not go all out of something thats over kill.
