New owner of a normal ball just some questions

Hi I have had my new BP for about 2 weeks n his first feed went fine a bit ago, but now all he does is just hide under his water dish. I do have another hide in the hotspot but I have never seen him use it once. Is there anything to be worried about if I never see him in his hot spot or am I just over exaggeratingand complaining about nothing?

if he is hiding under his water dish that means that he is looking for a cool place to hide ... double check your temps in your tank ... they might be to high so hes looking for a cool spot

    Hi,

Or it is simply that you do not have two identical hides and he prefers the waterdish as it is tighter and makes him feel more secure.

There can be a few reasons why they prefer one place over another - which is why we tend to try and avoid the problem with the two identical hides and a ceramic waterdish.
