    Feeding question

Could have sworn I read it on here before, but I didn't know what to search for in order to find it, so sorry if (I know it probably has ) it has been asked before...

What is the general rule for feeding amount? Not the "widest part of the snake" but weight percentage... I thought I read 10 or 15% of the snake's weight at one time, but again, didn't know how to search for it :/

    thanks

    Re: Feeding question

    I too have read 10 - 15% of their body weight .

Try looking up "prey size". :-)

10-15% is a good rule of thumb until they are about 800-1000 grams. Then you can just feed a small to medium sized rat.
