What are the exact temperatures? You can not just assume that your ambient temperature is enough because you live in a warmer climate. They need a proper temperature gradient in their cage.

The warm side should be 90-95F and the cool side should be 80-85F with an ambient temp of 80-85F. Do not guess.
Are you using any heating elements in your enclosure? If so, how are you controlling them?
Get your hands on some good digital thermometers with probes to measure exact temps in your cage.

This is why BG shouldn't be lazy and read the whole thread. If he never had a problem before, it's probably because he fed it a large meal. However, his snake would be much better off taking BlackC's advice on husbandry.

BG does know people that do keep their snakes at room temp when they live in warmer climates with no problems though.
