    Re: Banana prices?

the prices I've heard are between 15k - 25K now this is only what I've been told and haven't seen this with my own eyes.. but your going to pay 10's of thousands for one.

    Re: Banana prices?

I have been told by more than a few breeders that they will be in line to dish out 25K CASH in 2010 for a MALE. If they will fight in a spot in line for 25K -- I bet they could be "coaxed" to pay 30K-35K.

    Re: Banana prices?

The few that I seen for sale have been females for 20k....The few that have the males are not going to let go them cheap.....very easy to make your money back with males and multiple breedings with females and the sellers know that....With a female all you got is 1 clutch and an extra year to get ehm ready to breed...simple supply and demand..

    Re: Banana prices?

I am pretty sure that someone had females for $12,500 this year. I have also heard of someone turning down 40k for a Banana Spider male.

    Re: Banana prices?

I took a tour of Mark Mandics set-up and got to hold the Banana spider, for that 20 seconds or less I actually felt rich WOW that was a nice looking BP. Mark is going to have fun with that
