Snake is rubbing her nose

This snake is in a 20 gallon enclosure with bottom heat and top heat. She continually rubs her nose with great effort on the side of the tank and the bottom. She is not trying to shed, as she just did a couple of days ago. She is off feed right now as well.

Anybody ever seen this before?

Have you checked to see if she is leaving mucus smeared when she does so and that she doesn't have anything irritating her like mites? Is it always in the same spot she does this? What are you using as substrate?

She might just be stressed and trying to escape as well so it couldn't hurt to double check your setup and make sure the hides are dark enough and small enough to make her feel secure.

She had a RI, but has been treated by the vet, has had two shots. She no longer leaves mucus. We have bottom heat in the enclosure covered with paper towels. We have turned the heat up due to the Vet's recommendations. She never behaved like this before, now it seems like she wants to dig through the bottom, and through the side. Like I said she has gone off feed too. She has a log hide, it is nice and tight.

Could the snake be too warm and possibly trying to seek a cooler area?
