How much does your snake currently weigh, and how old is it? Yes, snakes can get fat, so make sure you're not over-feeding... although with only 1 mouse a week, I doubt that's a problem. You should see my "fatty" Julius, the 4 month-old Mojave - he's gone from 95g to nearly 400g in the 3 months I've had him.
