sorry i wish i knew that earlier as well and saved myself some money instead of always buying the zoomed crap .. i was told that the zoomed snake bedding was cut from a different area of the tree than just the chipped stuff thrown in

I did the foil/duct tape treatment and cut a square hole to allow for natural light to enter. I took a sheet of laminate (like you would use to laminate a piece if paper) and put it under the foil/tape but didn't tape it down. Using it this way I can move it under the duct tape/foil to allow for more screen area to be exposed or less. I've found it allows me to regulate my humidity much better.
