ok sorry for not being clear, as you must have noticed i live on an island not in the us or uk or the like so english is not my language.

what i did was i touched the corns heathmat, and then touched the ball python's heathmat. the ball pythons heathmat was alot warmer. now i didnt know that the ball pythons must have a higher temp then the corns so i got alarmed.
and of course now reading the caresheets i read that there should be some sort of ventilation beetween the heatmath and the tank. it idnt have so that probably explains why the heathmat and the tanks plastic got so hot, even tough temps where still at about 87-88.

if im not clear at something pls tell me to explain , im not really good at explaining clear and in detail but i try hard so sometimes i do mistakes in my english explaining and get mis understood.
