    Re: My Pet Rock Collection

Excellant observation! I am amazed finishing up my first year in snakes how different each one is.....

    1. Some come out looking for ya when you open the tub....not to eat....just to be picked up.......

    2. Others act tough but are sweethearts once out of the tub....

    3. A select few remind me of my wife and just dont want to be pissed with much at all lol. jk jk

    4. Others explore......some are content just using you as a stand as they observe whats going on......

the list is endless but again they do have what could resemble personality traits

Yup very true. For awhile I even had different "personality classifications" with my bloods -- ranging from "strike and pee when looked at from across the room" to "jack-in-the-box in the tub, tame when worked with" to "big lump."

What I dig about the BPs though is that that vast majority of mine are just so totally tame and handle-able when out of the tub, even if they have a pretty killer feeding response when they're in it (like my banded normal girl who tried to eat my finger the other day ... ) It's just fun to have a few racks of snakes that I can just take out and handle without having to worry about getting nailed every time.

That one is a raccoon skull; it came from ... Uh ... (I collect skulls, so I have to think, here ...)

I *think* I bought that one in a whole lot of skulls (mostly raccoons) that I got from someone who had collected them.

This is the other thing I do with them ...

Thanks! Heh -- she is, although the activity of being photographed stimulated her to void about an hour later -- at which point she was EXACTLY the same size as the pin

Beautiful collection! I really like the albino pic. If you don't want him, I'll take him.

Thanks!! Yeah the pink dog (Price) is one of my keepers -- although the poor thing has been in storage for over a year since we moved I need to rescue him from the box dungeon and put him on display again ...

But you could use a ghost or a woma to spice things up 'combo-wise'
    in your collection.
Eh -- to be honest, while I do like the ghost x combos, they're not my favorites ... Given the amount of work that goes into making recessive x co-dom visuals, I'm planning on waiting until I can get one of the recessives that I really like -- clown, pied or caramel. Though that's not to say I wouldn't turn down a nice female ghost if one came along at a good price ...

And I almost got a woma or two -- until I realized that you can't make the really crazy combos with just a "regular" woma. I'm not the biggest fan of the "regular" woma combos -- so I guess I'll have to wait until the "HG womas" become affordable (or even, really, available) ...

Next on my list (way way up there) is a male pewter -- I'm really kind of hoping to pick one up this year, so that he can be ready for next year. Then an Enchi ... Then a sugar/calico ... And on ... And on ....
