    Lemon Pastel Jungle?

I came across an ad for a male and female Lemon Pastel Jungles (is this just the same as lemon pastel?) and the guy only wants $75 for the male...

Can anyone tell me what these are typically priced at, if these pictures indicate that they are indeed what they claim to be, and what they can potentially be crossed with to breed?

They look like reduced patterned pastels to me .I think some add the jungle in because of the wild looks. They can be crossed with just about anything say a spider for bumblebees

    Re: Lemon Pastel Jungle?

They both look like regular pastels to me. Lemon refers to a specific line of pastel and jungle is just the pattern. I wouldn't say either of them have a jungle pattern but that doesn't make them any less pastel.

$75 for a male sounds about right. they have been going for around $75-$100 lately.

Pastels can be bred with normals to get %50 pastel offspring or any other morph to get some cool combos.

so would a lemon pastel appear more yellow than these? its not the best picture, but does that male look like its a good example of a pastel or could i find better for $75?

    Re: Lemon Pastel Jungle?

Pastel jungle = pastel. That's what they were originally called because Greg Graziani was reminded of the pattern on classic jungles by them. Him calling them lemons should suggest that they are from NERD's lemon line. For $75 imo, you're probably not going to get much of a pastel unless you get pretty lucky. I'd shop around and fork out the extra $25 or $50 for a real nice one from a trusted breeder.

They both look like pretty decent Pastels, but it's Craigslist, so I'd be hesitant to buy them...unless you can inspect them personally before purchasing....
