Stolen iTouch need advice.
Well, my son had his iTouch stolen on Friday. Anybody have any ideas on how to get it back? We've been able to retrieve his serial number off of itunes but is there anyway to retrieve his MAC address? (it has wireless internet) If we do get his mac address is there any way that we can trace that address when it connects to the internet and maybe find the thief?
He's only had it for two months, I got it for his birthday. He's pretty upset.

Re: Stolen iTouch need advice.
Those are questions best asked to Apple customer service.
I'm sorry to say that it is very unlikely you will be able to recover the iTouch, stolen electronics aren't easy to recover even with serial numbers.
I'd keep an eye on craigslist.

unfortunately you wont be able to track it with wifi if it isn't on your network. Your best bet is to call apple, prove you bought it, and mabey, just mabey if the person tries to register it on itunes, your serial will pop up and apple might be able to catch them
