    My extremly new baby

Meet Pele my Brazilian Rainbow Boa. Just got him home and I am obsessed.
p.s. I think she can go in the pattern thread too with the mickey mouse head on her neck.

    Re: My extremly new baby

Well he is actually a she....got sexed today. Woot. I payed a breeder here 100 bucks for it because he thought it was a male. Then took it to the Herpatology department and Michigan State and the herpatologist told me I had a cute little girl....and more information on how to keep them which he made it seem a whole lot easier than the care sheets I have made a collection of. He says mid 70s to mid 80s humidity 60 to 80 percent and feed once a week which she has done twice. Shes so nice I have moved from gloves. to glove liners to now bare hands and she has never struck. Hasn't even coiled back to strike.

p.s. Name = Pele unless a better one comes along

Sweet pick up, I like the light orange and contrast on her.

Pele is about 8 weeks old now and is amazing. Im so surprised how nice she is. big sweetie. well little now. I have a lot of hope that she will be great so I am handling her very gently and about 15 minutes a day.
