Yup looks like a spider to me. Threads like this are always pointless IMO. If you think it looks good and your happy with him then what does it matter. And for if he is or isnt a "good spider is also a matter of opinion. I like the really light clean spiders, some like them with a busy patterns, some lke darker ones with light stripes down the dorsal (yours), etc.
