If it works for you and your snake eats consistently then there is no problem with doing it. Obviously the snake is not stressed from being moved. Some are, some aren't.
I would be careful though, you are way more likely to catch a bite when feeding in a separate enclosure. Also, be careful when moving the snake after feeding, handling your snake after being fed is not recommended. You should leave the snake be for 48 hours before messing with it.
Just be aware of the options. Feeding in the home enclosure will not make your snake "associate your hand with food" as long as you go in the cage one other time per week to do cage maintenance (which you should be doing anyway).
So, neither way is wrong but in my opinion, feeding outside the enclosure is more work and more risky.
