Sadly, I only have two clutches this season. Thanks to a long drawn out divorce, I didn't get my snakes or tegus for almost a year. When I did get them, I was 6 snakes shy (2 adult spiders, an adult female pastel and a few normal adult females were missing) and I was missing almost 15 tegus. I assumed they were starved because the ones I got back where seriously under weight. Because of the divorce I didn't get to cycle them when I received them. I got some weight on a few and got a couple pairs to breed uncycled.

One group was an Albino to Albino, I got 5 eggs.

One group was a Super Pastel to Pastel, I got 4 eggs and one went bad.

Next you should be much more interesting.

Grats!! I had two sets of twins out of one clutch two years ago. In my opinion, it is genetic.

Ok, the last three albinos hatched, from the last two eggs.

The two albinos on the right are the second set of twins from the clutch. Notice that they are a little smaller, but their color/pattern is normal. The first set of twins from the clutch are faded. Odd, huh?

Huh, that's pretty weird. But hey, more babies! They're so cute!

Unless you actually summed up every snake that has hatched and every set of twins, you cant really find the odds of it happening. It's not one of those things like the morph or anything, it's a freak occurrence.

Essentially what probably happened is that when the egg went through one of its initial divisions one of the cells separated from the cluster and ended up becoming its own new organism that is essentially a clone of the other (this is how identical twins are formed, there are three kinds of twins).

Sometime you will have an animal genetically predisposed to produce twins, so you could keep trying with those snakes and see if it hits again.
