hey man looking good, i'm waiting to remodel my spare bedroom for my computer/snake room. I would really like to start breading my own rats. How do you keep the odor down, or is there any. When i have to keep rats the girlfriend complains that they smell.

NONE haha i just clean them every 3 days my girl also hates the smell haha. So I usually get banished to the snake room to clean rat cages of course I love it but she doesnt know that.
Is there any issue with having your rodents and snakes in the same room?
I have an extra bedroom that my snake rack, if I get that far, will go in. I don't really have another place in the house that I can put a rodent rack except the garage and I don't like that. It seems like if the food is constantly present, the snakes will be in feeding mode whenever they are hungry and might cause some issues with handling.
Great looking room. I have no idea how you keep the rats in the house though. I cant stand being in our rat building but im severly allergic to them lol.

I live in AZ and during the summers temps hit around 122 so the rats wouldnt stand a chance, but during the winter I stick them outside but then I run into the problem of them being to cold.
