Red face New spider ball python!(with lots of pics)

So today, i was at Scales N Tails up in denver. I saw a cool little spider ball python. And i asked to see it. Well what he took out was this little tiny hatchling spider ball. i checked him for mites: no mites, he was just slithering in my hands freely. He was beautiful to boot! the price on him was $249. Seemed reasonable, but as a buyer, i asked him if he would take $189 for it... HE DID!!! Great price for a great snake. (i held him for an hour and a half)! When i go him home i tried feeding, and amazingly he took it! A great feeder. Also he weight 67g, and he is 3 months

    Apolo

    old.
    slithering on the tripod...

It's too early for me to tell, but so far it seems like it. I got my spider last Saturday, and on Sunday went to feed a medium frozen rat to my big female. She didn't want it (she's been on a hunger strike for a month now. Think she is ready to breed). So I didn't want to waste it so offered it to the spider (Alexander). He pounded it in less than 20 seconds. Considering all the travel he had been through the day before I would say it looks good for his eating habits =)
