    One your know for sure the weight of snake and not guess. you will know the size of prey you should feed.


    I dont start BPs on sm rats till their 600grams. From 300-600 i feed wean rats which are the size of breeder mice.

    i weigh them often. i just weighed them like an hour ago.

    Start with weaned rats, try and see if she will take 2, if it looks like 2 is too much wait untill she gains some weight and feed her 2. You should be able to tell when she can eat a small rat.

    I would say yes, that is under weight. I have a one month old who is around 130g.

    Also if you have alot of mice, offer her 2 or even 3. But becareful with that. She might end up a mouser. See if she will eat rats when you have a chance to get some. But if you have mice now, Feed her 2 at least im sure she will take them.

    It's small for it's age, but not necessarily "underweight". If a Ball is not fed that much, it will grow slower but be perfectly healthy. So the answer to your question is yes....and no.
