Shedding - no problem, but I'm a bit confused.

I'm a proud owner of ball pythons, and all of them is doing well.

But I do have one question regarding shedding in albinos and snows. How can you tell when an albino and/or snow is in shed?

I sometimes find a pair of dirty 'socks' here and there but I would like to know whether there are some good indications on an upcoming shed.

It is tricky, but their eyes do cloud. You have to look pretty closely, and I miss it a lot as well.
They also tend to look more dull and slightly 'dirty' just beforehand.

Oh yea, it's unmistakable. Well... for albinos that is. Their pattern because significantly subdued prior to shedding. I imagine with snows that it's trickier. Plus, you can tell by behavior most of the time. I won't see my snake if he's in shed. As soon as he's done, he makes it a point to let me know he wants food.
