Cage Size Question
Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a custom made black cage from craigslist for my adult ball python who is about 3 1/2 feet long. The dimensions of the cage are 17 1/2 inches high, 23 1/2 inches wide, and 18 inches deep. Will this be big enough?
Thank you!

Re: Cage Size Question
seems to be on the small side for sure. it's the floor space u need to look for when looking for ball python cages, not so much height. ever though about making ur own? there are alot of styles u can make urself very inexpensively. just look around on this site or online other places. that way it's the right size and u can customize it to your own specifications.

should work fine floor space is pretty much same as a 28qt tub
edit* well 28qt tub fits in a space of 24x18 so its still close same size

Hi Tarzan,
Unfortunately, I do not have the time to make my own. This cage will be temporary until tax return time, then I'll buy him his permanent home. He's currently got 360 in of floor space; the new cage will give him 423 in... The cage is only $50, so it isn't a bad deal. My corn will move into that cage when Simon gets his bigger home.
