    Red face Feeding Issue

    I know this has been asked but I can not find it. My new normal girl struck, constricked, but did not eat.
    Info on her : I have had her since 10/23/09 she took her first meal on 10/26/09 for me. She weighs 328 grams on 11/1/09 her hatch date is 4/26/09. She is in a 20 gal long two iden. hides hot side 90-95 under aspen uth controled buy a reostat;cool side 76-80 cool side. humidity 50-60% (acu- rite) Fed rat pup of 37 grams on 10/26/09 Today rat pup 42 grams. How long should I let it stay in enclosure before tossing it?
    Just to add three sides of the tank are covered with black foam board. All of my balls are set up the same I have never had this problem before.

    Now this is a complete post.....take notes peeps.

    Don't worry about it unless it becomes a regular thing. Something may have disturbed your snake while it was eating. Sometimes they won't eat after that.

    I must say Big Gunns I love reading your post they bring something interesting to the forum when you speek or type rather in third person. But how long do I leave the dead rat pup in before removing it?

    Alot of times when that happens, you can immediately re-offer with tongs/hemos (You may have to reheat the prey) and alls fine.

    Try what icandyball said and see if that works. If it doesn't, you can leave it in all night and be OK.

    I tryed to reinterduce the rat pup on the hemos and she wanted nothing to do with it just went in her hide. I had to run out for about 1/2 hour so I put the rat pup in front of the hide she was in and when I got home it was gone. I just hope she is not one of those picky girls
