sigh. i'm such a procrastinator..

So my entire apartment complex is getting inspected, general stuff like checking that smoke alarms work and no blatant lease violations etc, and of course they want the apartments clean and tidy without too much mess or trash.

Unlucky me, I generally live in one big pile of clothes that need to be washed and dishes that I put off cleaning for too long. I set aside all day today to clean, and of course I couldn't even bring myself to get started until the day was literally over. It's now past 2 AM friday morning, the day of inspection, and here I am doing dishes and laundry and picking up all the random crap I've thrown all over my floor.. everything from fishing lures (packaged, otherwise a misstep would really hurt!) to guitar hero controllers and wiimotes.

It helps to complain a little bit before getting back to work

I can relate! I was up til after midnight last night packing for a camping trip this weekend. And now I'm at work and keep thinking of things I didn't do and we're supposed to leave as soon as I get off!

We procrastinators work best under pressure. If we had all the time in the world to do something, we'd never get it done...
If we've got 30 minutes to complete an hour project, then we are untouchable in our efficiency, lol.

I got a call from our land lords to show our old house to prospective tennants/buyers...
They called on a weds and left a message on our voice mail and said if we had any problems with it to let them know, they could reschedule.. I called them either later that night or early the next day. They said, ahhh so sad, still coming...
So we had less than 24 hours to clean an entire house, and hide our reptiles, one had a very bad fear of them.
it wasn't a bad mess, dishes, cleaning the fridge, sweeping the floors...cleaning the bird cages... moving a TON of boxes..
but still....

I'm a procrastinator, but once I get going you can't stop me. I just cleaned our apartment a day ago. Had 2 cups of coffee and was cleaning for about 3 hours. Sat down at the computer and was out for the count! lol.
