This is most likely the reason they are having bad sheds. They have natural oils in their skin that water will leech out. BPs don't need to be soaked until AFTER they have a bad shed. Soaking them while they are in blue will actually make a shed worse.Originally Posted by TheCourtneys
Snakes have been shedding themselves for thousands of years. Just bump their humidity to 65% when you see them going blue and they should shed just fine.
