    My new snake rack

Hey everyone. Just wanted to show everyone the rack a made. It's also my first snake rack. I'm still pretty amateur, I only got my first ball python almost exactly one year ago, but i think this was a big step. I did tons of research and decided it was best to build my own. I went with 3/4" partical board instead of 5/8" for most of it but used 3/4" MDF Shelves, and base to make it that much more solid. The downside maybe that it's very heavy (I'd say over 200lbs) but thats okay I actually dont mind that at all. Also I made crossers for the back of each shelf so the bins cant slide all the way out the back, but only half way down so it leaves lots of room for wires. All of the inside is laminated already with an off-white color but I left the whole outside of the rack bare for now because I ordered some really cool laminate for it, it looks like granite. I can't wait to put that on and see how it looks. Anyway i'm super excited, here's a few pics of what I was talking about. My lesser decided to model for them.. he is excited too! Let me know what you think so far.

Just the wood, laminate, screws and glue was cheap maybe $60. Bins were about $40. The heat tabe and herpstat were the most expensive part.
