Ball Python Questions
Ok first off I want to really thank all of the people who read my post and answer my questions. Also I would like to say im srry for the length but I just wanted to put all of my questions in one post intead of 2 or 3.
**just plz put the number of the question that you are answering so I do not get confused, thnks**
I currently have one male ball python that is around 2 1/2 ft long that is in a
40 gal breeder tank.
1.) I want to get another male BP around the smae size and put them in the same tank, is that ok?
2.) Is a 40 gal breeder tank big enough for 2 BP?
3.) If it is ok to put 2 males together is there any saftey precaushions that I should take?
When I do get another BP i wanted to get a morph like a spider or a bumble bee.
4.) Around how much should I be paying for a spider or a bumble bee.
5.) Is a reptile expo a good place to get a BP for a lower price or to get a BP in general?
Again I want to thank everyone for their replys and I hope that I do not sound like I am not doing my research. I am but I just wanted to get some peoples opinions as well as research.

Re: Ball Python Questions
1) No. Not two males. Unless you are experience, I wouldn't recommend keeping two bp's together no matter what the sex is. Especially two males, they can fight. You also have to quarrantine your new baby, no matter where you purchased him from. Quarrantine in a different room is the preference, for I think 6 to 8 weeks, most would do longer.
2) See #1
3) See #1
4) Prices change so much I can't keep up. A Spider can be anywhere from 200 to 300, and a bee anyhwere from 600-900. It varies though.
5) Yes. It is an excellent place to pick up a bp. Then you can visually see the animal, and get the one that looks good to you. You can also talk to the breeder face to face, and ask important questions about the feeding schedule, and any trouble he has had.
I hope this helps.

Re: Ball Python Questions
1, 2, 3. I know a breeder that uses a 40 gal tank for two snakes. However there is a Plexiglas barrier so I guess it makes that tank 2- 20's. Just a suggestion.
4, 5. not sure
