Talking *Official Top Ramen Noodle Appreciation Thread*

Ramen noodle lovers, unite! We all know it is the meal of champions, and the cheapest thing you can buy, when you are skimping on everything possible in hopes to buy that pied you've had your eyes on!

Why do you love it, and what are your favorite flavors??

Personally it's way too salty for me. We found an Indonesian version of packaged ramen at a world food store, called Mi goreng, and it tastes way better and just about the same cost.

Yum! The chicken with some lemon juice in it is the best!

Oriental Ramen got me through living in a dorm freshman year! It is the best!!! I used to go to the Chick-Fil-A on campus, buy a grilled chicken sandwich, tear the chicken up and mix it in with the Ramen. Viola! Dinner!!

    Go NCSU Wolfpack!

When I was out of work over 15 years ago, I had to live off this crap for 3 months. I still can't touch it to this day.

Re: *Official Top Ramen Noodle Appreciation Thread*

Of course I love it because it tastes GREAT!! I love the chicken flavored one, in fact, I bought 4 bags of Top Ramen noodles tonight!

I love eating it straight out of the bag with the seasoning on it, it tastes sooo good! I kind of like it better than eating it cooked .

I just crunch/smash the Ramen noodles in the bag then put the seasoning on it THEN shake the bag and there beholds a nice bag of uncooked Ramen. YUM

Ramen got me through some seriously lean years of college! LOL

These days, my favorite flavor is the Oriental one....and then I like to add some veggies and some Asian pepper sauce that my sister-in-law makes for me when she visits. Makes it really spicy (depending on how much you add) and seriously yummy.

Growing up in Hawaii with all the asian influence we lived on it dry cracked with seasoning on it, cooked with a cracked egg in it with spam and green onions, what ever you can find just like when we cooked fried rice lol.... My favorite is shrimp and I put the red rooster sauce on it ... Yummmmmy

I'm squarely in the majority with chicken and oriental flavors, but creamy chicken is my absolute favorite ramen. I don't eat it much anymore, since it's lacking in real nutrients and high in calories and sodium, but it's definitely comfort food for me.

I'm hoping I didn't miss the official thread about Kraft macaroni and cheese in the blue box with the neon orange powder.
