Re: How do you choose names for your Ball pythons?

My first ball was named Irulan because I like Dune and because I really love that name. The rest are all named after elements. I already had some good elemental names picked out (Iridium, Tungsten), and I figured I'd make that my theme. I can match the snakes' colors and patterns to elements, and I don't have to worry about running out of names until I get over 118 snakes...and that's gonna be a while!!

All of my reptiles are my kids, so I don't feel comfortable giving them numbers. It feels way too impersonal for me. So they'll all get names, even if they're kinda dumb.
