You know you have a mouser when...
She looks underneath a rat!
My tiger girl ate rats for about a year and then decided to become a mouser (my only one). I have stubbornly tried to get her to take a rat again for quite sometime. No matter the size she won't take it. But as soon as a mouse hits the floor she's on it.
After skipping a feeding period so she would be good and hungry, I tried again last night. I selected an appropriately sized rat, dimmed the lights, pre-scented, and dropped the very calm rat in with her. After a few minutes of nose tag and getting to know one another the BP forced her head underneath the bewildered rat who just sat there! She was obviously looking for babies (mice)!

Maybe try scenting the rat with mice scent. Put it in used mice shavings or in with a mouse!

It happens out of 50+ BP I have 2 that will not touch a rat, you can scent the rat with mice bedding, or use any other trick they will not fall for it, not even after a 9 months fast.
Keep trying use tough love and see how it goes maybe your BP will switch back.

Re: You know you have a mouser when...
I got a stubborn female switched over with a combination of "tough love" and trickery.
I got a bag of used mouse shavings from the pet store, and put an handful of it into the front part of her tub. Once she was actively hunting for the mouse that she smelled, I dropped in a rat and she hit it immediately, because she was expecting a mouse and a warm fuzzy creature entered her enclosure.

That's a really good idea, I hadn't thought of that. May have to give that one a try with my one stubborn mouser.
