RI occurances

I see a lot of threads in these forums about RI's and it has me wondering. Is this a very comman occurance or does it happen less that than it seems? As we go into cooling and breeding season, I was wondering how many breeders see this and how often do you see it during the season? Is there special precautions to take that can lower the chances of this during cooling and breeding? I have a low number of breeders this season(about 16) and want to reduce the chance of having to deal with RIs. You insights are appreciated.

You dont have to cool down your temps to breed. If you are that worried about RI's don't drop your temps. I didn't drop my temps and I never had a problem locking or with RI

I didn't have any problems with my girl that just layed recently either. It just seems like a lot of people have problems with RI. It could be directly related to thier husbandry issues though. Thats why I wanted to see if breeders who cool have the same problems. Breeders tend to keep thier cages clean and temp more dialed in.
