    Species kept??

Since monitors and tegus are a pretty variable group of animals, with size ranges from a few inches to 8+ feet, I was wondering what types of animals were being kept by the members here.

We have a pair of ackies, here's the male:

    An Arg. B&W tegu female:

An Ornate monitor, believe he's a male:

So what all do you guys have? Let's see some pics!

Don't get me wrong, salvadorii are awesome animals. I am considering one for the future, but I've been raising calm "savage" monitors (such as niloticus and ornatus) for 19 years, and the minimum enclosure size for a croc would be 16x16xhowever tall you can make it.

I'm with you on the CB decision. I'll never buy a WC anything again. Luckily here in Canada we have CB ornatus, beccarii, prasinus and salvator to choose from...

Blackthroats, red tegu, and b&W tegu(stolen), and previously I had a peachthroat.

Got 2 blackthroat eggs in the incubator, and hatched tegus year before last.
