In memory of Houdini the corn snake...
I just found my corn snake Houdini dead in his cage.
This is just a post in his memory, he was my first snake, and my friend. He was important to me and will be greatly missed.
I hope he has gone to a better place... and I will never forget him.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same way when I lost my first Corn snake.

Man losing a snake is pretty hard, and I can't say that I haven't cried when one of my snakes died. So far, I've had 3 snakes that have died in the past, over 2 years ago. Two were Corns, one was a Milk snake. Oddly, both the Corns died for the same reason: Regurgitating their meal.

Yeah it's very hard to lose a beloved pet, I would be devistated if my female Ball python died. Now, if that happened, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all.
Well, try to sleep, it's best to get your night's rest.

i am so mad at myself right now. I feel like i am the cause of his death. I left him water, and heat, but he died... I am so disappointed at myself.

What did/do you plan on doing with the snake's body?

I have him in a baggie, and i'm going to bury him tomorrow. I sat him on the porch, because it is cold enough to preserve his body.
