    Reptile room getting too hot

This summer i had a few days where the reptile room, which has assorted snakes and bearded dragons in it, got over 85 degrees. it also scrwed up the heat gradients in the cages, not much difference between the hot and cool side. I was thinking about putting a bathroom fan in on a thermostat to suck out the hot air when it got too hot.

I was wondering if anyone had this problem and what you did to fix it, now that its getting cold, temps are fine now but I gotta do something before next summer

My airconditioner pretty much runs all summer. But i work for the electric company so i get a discount. If you love your pets you have to do what needs to be done to keep with stable tems if needed. If you cant afford airconditioning move them to a room with a good crossflow of air and keep the windows open.

i just see a bathroom fan moving the hot air somewhere else and sucking in the colder air from the rest of the house being more effective and cheaper than an air conditioner fighting the hot air all day and night. mayb im wrong?
