wrong way or ok?

i fed my BP a baby live rat for the first time a few minutes ago. he was eating f/t fuzzy mice before but hes bigger now so i decided to switch. he went right after it and wrapped up. it took a lil longer than i expected for it to die. then he started eating it tail first. i tried to turn it around but he kept goin tail first. anyone elses BP ever do that before? does it really matter which end goes in first? i always thought it was head first

Yeah, it happens. No big deal as long as he got it down!

I had one of mine take it from the back side....I was freaking out. Took her 5 hours to get it down and in that time I had called everyone I knew that had BP because I was sure it was stuck....lol

In the end she got it down and believe me...there was NO getting it out to turn it around. There was another time she took it from the end and then spit it out and took it from the front.

Soooooooooooo.....don't worry, they get in a big fat hurry sometimes and and try to swallow wherever they grab it.
