Balloon Boy A Hoax?

I believe that it was a hoax for publicity. Hundreds of thousand of dollars were spent chasing the balloon for 70 miles and searching for the boy. I think the father (and the mother if she is involved) should face criminal charges and be ordered to make restitution to the taxpayers if found guilty.

I couldn't agree more, to me this was a poorly planned hoax
it just shows how far people are willing to for publicity.

I thought this whole story was pretty lame from the get-go. I mean...sure....the kid is cute and all, but his parents are total asses. I have no doubt in my mind that this was all a hoax.

I dont know why he's called balloon boy the kid was never in the balloon.

Poor kids probably gonna get beat for the rest of his life for selling the family secret out.
