What carpets can be kept in a CB70?

Since space is an issue for me and I'd like to get something different from a BP (though still thinking of investing the money into my BP projects, still getting information on my options) I'd need a snake that could be kept in a CB70 tub (I have a 7030 from ARS and really have no more room for cages, except maybe one of those custom aboreal ones from boaphile or vision I think, heard it recommended somewhere but I can't seem to find the exact cage) and be happy and healthy.

I was told that carpets could be and would just use their hide as a makeshift perch and just be fine. Is that right? What about crosses like 50/50 or 75%s?

    If a CB70 wouldn't work would a 36L x 20W x 14H work for an adult?

    Thanks.

no... you would not want to keep adult carpets in cages that small.

Yea, when you get a carpet you should be more concerned about what the appropriate cage size for an adult is..not what you can stuff it in.

That is why I am asking. If a tub is no good I am obviously not going to put one in there. And if I can't provide proper housing I am not going to get one period.

Is a 36x18x17.5 appropriate or do I need to go to a 4ft long one?

you could do 36 but most likely you would end up with a cramped snake. 4ft seems more suitable. Your gonna want a good amount of floor space as well though..

my plan for my jungle carpet is a 36x24x18 with a L shaped shelf. right now shes in a 3x2x2 and i don't really see the need for the vertical. i think a simple shelf would give her all the floor space she would need.

as i stated b4, i don't see the need for the vertical, so yes shorter cage, add a shelf for more total floor space, thats the plan. and yes i can convert feet to inches lol
