There have been rumors of "Not all white" Lesser Pieds for a while, but no photo evidence of such. I think we'll need to see a few more produced before we an write this off as a "Paradox" or not.
Why would it not work? The pied mojave has been made so why wouldent a lesser work? completely possible but not worth it since it looks just like a mojave pied.
I've hear from several people that there are Lesser Pied's that do have pattern and color.. All of the heads seem to be white but the bodys do exibit some color.
When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001? ~ Mark Cuban

im glad to hear this and would love to see more. the lesser is one of the best morphs out there (IMO) and i was really disappointed in the all white lesser pied. looks like i have to start a new project.
Yes, there are lesser pieds that are not all white. I saw that same one at Tinley this weekend and I've got another picture of it around here somewhere (Adam was nice enough to take it out for me and let me hold it) I understand that Pete has hatched others like that. It may be that the 'norm' is for small patches of color and the 'all white' condition to be more uncommon. There really aren't a whole lot out there yet to really make a determination on what is typical.
just every single lesser pied i've seen on here has been all white, i was also disappointed, I mean i love lucys but we really don't need another combo making them, we got enough already.
