    Talking Finally 4.5 years later..

I went to the local pet store to purchas live prey for my ball python. They were sold out for the first time dealing with the store. I decided to get some frozen food and see if I had a chance at feeding him.. I thawd the prey and fed it to him. He snatched it right a away but I had to pull on the prey by the tail to simulate resistance. I kick my self in the but for not trying this earlyer, I thought frozen was a hastle.. but turns out you dont have to fight with the live prey.. LOL.. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Thanks for reading... Bored @ school..

I have all mine but 2 on f/t........i just enjoy being able to keep a large stock in freezer and not hassle with the other side of raising rodents. There are two that can get picky with f/t and I may supplement live as I see needed.

    Re: Finally 4.5 years later..

I picked up my first BP a 2009 female CH import the last day in August. She was fed live adult mice once a week at the shop. I offered her a F/T rat pup four days later. She took it with gusto as if she has always had F/T rats. I now have he on small F/T weaned rats she's eatten every feeder offered even in shed.
