Is it weird to never see your ball python actually balled up? I have seen countless pictures of bp's curled up into a ball while being held, inside its tub, or during a photo shoot. But i have never ever seen my Bp curl up. I have had it for 2 months now. Has this happened to anyone else? Or is this a good sign that its content with its tub and being held.

Ball pythons ball up as a defensive measure (trying to hide their heads beneath their coils). Sounds like your little one hasn't felt threatened by your handling and therefore hasn't displayed that behavior.

My 3 snakes are fairly calm and seldom do it.

So no wierdness there!

I can only get mine to ball up if I open the tub really fast while they are sleeping. That also happens to be the only time I can get decent pictures.
