    I know you already researched the housing requirements, etc. Are you ready for a big snake? My boas are super tame but are large enough to do what they want---maybe I'm the tame one. LOL

    For a first boa, I'd recommend a male. I keep my boas in 4x2x1 cages from the boaphile(Jeff Ronne). Later I'd like to keep them in bigger/taller cages because I know they like to climb. So, there cages take up alot more room than BP cages. Food cost a little more also.

    All things considered: boas are beautiful and make great pet snakes!
